    Amelia Buckley is the driving force behind The ROWDY Mermaid. With a passion for fitness and a love for creating vibrant energy, Amelia's journey as a fitness influence spans over a decade. Her mission at The ROWDY Mermaid is simple: to cultivate an atmosphere where people feel supported, encouraged, and energized. Amelia's credentials speak volumes about her expertise: she holds a CSCS certification, alongside group fitness certification from NASM, and is certified in CPR, AED, and first aid.

    With a background rooted in strength and conditioning, Amelia's experience is displayed by her collegiate swimming career, earning her the title of a four-time NCAA All-American athlete. Beyond the gym walls, Amelia embraces an active lifestyle, indulging in activities like surfing, running, and swimming, with a particular fondness for beach workouts blending sand training, surfing, and swimming. As a health and physical education teacher, Amelia's dedication to fitness extends beyond her business. Her inclusive approach caters to individuals of all levels, including adapted physical education. With Amelia at the helm, you're not just attending a fitness class – you're embarking on a journey of empowerment, vitality, and rowdiness.

    Kathryn grew up in Brielle, NJ, where she spent her summers lifeguarding at Spring Lake Beach and swimming competitively for a local club team. Her passion for swimming led her to Florida State University, where she competed as a Division 1 swimmer. After earning her degree, she pursued a Bachelor's in Nursing, all while continuing her lifelong dedication to fitness and helping others achieve their goals. Kathryn loves being part of the Rowdy community, where the positive atmosphere and supportive vibes make it the perfect place to inspire others and have fun along the way!

    Emily Reid is a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for helping others lead healthier lives. A certified personal trainer and mat Pilates instructor, Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics and is currently pursuing a master’s in sports nutrition. She is also working towards completing her dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian. With a lifelong background as an athlete, Emily brings five years of professional experience in the fitness industry, with extensive experience in weight training and HIIT training. She has passion of pcombining her expertise in fitness and nutrition to provide a holistic approach to wellness.

    Eleonora is a movement specialist, author, and fitness model originally from Milan, Italy, now based in New Jersey, USA. With a background in synchronized swimming and aerobics, she has been teaching since 1998, bringing decades of experience in fitness and body movement.

    Her passion for movement led her from the water to the dance floor when she moved to NYC to train at Peridance International School of Dance, where she studied ballet, modern dance, and flexibility. But it was stepping into a hot yoga class that truly changed her life.

    Today, Eleonora teaches fitness and yoga full-time in New Jersey, leading dynamic, challenging, and fun classes that blend strength, mobility, and flow. She also leads retreats around the world, creating transformative experiences for her students in breathtaking locations.

    In addition to teaching in-person, she works with Alo Yoga and teaches online through Alo Moves, sharing her expertise with a global audience. As an influencer and content creator, she collaborates with top wellness brands, inspiring people to move, grow, and connect with their bodies in new ways.
